New! Fabulous Nanny Position in Princeton, NJ
Princeton, NJ 08540
ABC Nanny Source - Philadelphia

The family has an adorable little girl!

Their little girl was just born at the end of May and she is doing great! Mom says that she is an awesome baby. Is not fussy at all and actually is sleeping right through the night! She eats like clockwork and mom just transitioned her to formula but she seems to like it so far. She is gaining weight and meeting all of her milestones and has no stranger danger at all. As of right now, she has no known allergies and she does not take any medications.

Mom and Dad are seeking someone who is energetic, loving, positive and organized. The duties for this position involve 100% childcare. Their little girl is little so she doesn’t do much more than sleep and eat right now but she does like it when you sing to her. There is not a ton of driving required but the Nanny would use her own car and they will reimburse for gas. They have a housekeeper who comes every other week so only need day to day cleaning done pertaining to their girl. They also have a pool in the backyard so Mom and Dad would like the Nanny to know basic swimming.

I absolutely love the schedule for this position. It is 3 days a week; Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:00am – 6:00pm. The grandmothers watch their baby on Tuesday and Thursday so the hours will always be consistent. They are paying a rate of $15-$20/per hour and are flexible with regards to how the Nanny would like to be paid!

Employment Type: Full time
Salary: $15-$20
License Required: Valid Driver's License
Certification Required: CPR
Experience Required: Minimum 3-5 years

New! Amazing Nanny Position
Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922
ABC Nanny Source - Philadelphia

The family has 2 boys!

The oldest is 7 years old and will be starting 1st grade in a whole new school come September! The bus will pick him up for school right at corner by the house. He is sometimes a bit shy when meeting new people but definitely warms up almost immediately. With everything that he does, he is extremely goofy and is animated! Mom says he has been always been on his best behavior when with caregivers. He is very easy to get along with and is always sociable. He loves being the older brother in the family. Him and his brother get along well! He has no allergies, no medications and no food restrictions.

The younger brother is 5 years old and will be enrolled in the full-day program at his daycare. Like this brother, he has a very easy going personality but tends to be a bit more reserved when it comes to his personality. He is very sweet, especially to others. He is sensitive and tends to wear his heart on his sleeve. He sounds so adorable! He is well behaved but sometimes change can be a bit much for him but it has never been an issue. He has no allergies, no medications and no food restrictions. The children are involved in different activities, mainly the oldest, which the nanny would need to take them to and pick them up.

Mom and Dad are looking for someone who is experienced, loving, kind, warm, patient, well-organized and reliable. They are also looking for someone who is dependable, responsible, outgoing, silly, manages time well and someone who engaging. Mom and Dad are very down to earth and I think this would definitely be a great personality match!

The daily responsibilities include; laundry, meal preparation and light housekeeping. In the morning, the nanny would need to make sure the older boy gets on the bus and drive their little one to his daycare. In the afternoon, the nanny would need to make sure the oldest gets off of the bus or on days where he has activities, make sure he gets to and from his after-school activities. The nanny would also need to pick up the younger boy from daycare. When at home, the nanny can make sure the boy’s laundry is done, make sure their homework is complete and prepare dinner. Driving is needed for this position and the family will provide the car restraints and gas reimbursement! All the driving is very local. The family has a housekeeper that does all the major cleaning and organizing so your main focus will be taking care of the boys.

The hours for this split shift position are great! The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 8:30AM and then again from 3PM to 7PM. When the mom travels, the nanny might need to come in at 6:30AM and then stay until 7:30PM on the second part of the shift. The family is offering an hourly rate between $13-$17 per hour as well as paid vacation, paid holidays and paid sick days.

Employment Type: Part time
Salary: $13-$17 per hour
License Required: Valid Driver's License
Certification Required: CPR
Experience Required: Minimum 3-5 years

New! Fantastic Nanny Position
Basking Ridge, NJ 07920
ABC Nanny Source - Philadelphia

The family has 4 children but the nanny will only be taking care of their adorable little girl.

She just turned 6 years old! She loves to be around people! Spending time with people is something that makes her extremely happy. She is healthy but is nonverbal. She was diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay. She understands everything that you are saying to her but is just unable to respond. She will respond with signs and cues. She absolutely loves to be engaged and loves when someone sits down and plays with her. Even if the nanny is doing the laundry, She loves to tag along to help! She walks just fine but needs a little help with walking the stairs. She also likes to stick to a schedule every day. She knows when it’s time to eat and when it’s time for bed. She is attending the PG Chambers school from 9am to 3pm where they are helping her with different things as well. When not in school, the nanny can take her to the library, the local park and the Gymboree, just so she has a change of scenery sometimes. She is a very good eater and not picky. She has sensitivity to cow’s milk but nothing too major. Otherwise, she has no allergies, no medications and no food restrictions. Some of her favorite activities include; playing outside, puzzles, reading, sorting shapes, pretend play, playing in the ball pit and swimming. She is a huge fan of swimming! She is definitely the sweetest little girl who you could have such a fun time with!

The 3 other children all attend school during the day and have many after school activities that keep them busy. All 3 are avid tennis players just like Dad! The oldest girl is 14 years old, The boy is 11 years old and their other boy is 8 years old. Mom and Dad are looking for someone who is loving, patient, caring, flexible, calm, fun, energetic, reliable and someone who is a self-starter. They are also looking for someone who is attentive and knows how to run a household. They are also looking for someone who might have a special needs and educational background.

The daily responsibilities will include; laundry, meal preparation and light housekeeping. During the week, the schedule starts at 3:30, when the little one will have her after school snack and then the nanny can tidy the kitchen afterwards. After snack time, the nanny can engage her in various activities before sitting down to dinner at 6pm. After dinner, the nanny can give her her a bath before reading her a bedtime story while settling down for bed. On the weekends, the nanny can start laundry when she gets there around 11am. At 12pm, she will sit down for lunch. After lunch, the nanny can start a new load of laundry before having playtime with the little one. Around 2:45pm, the nanny can give her a snack and bottle. Around 3pm, She normally goes down for her nap, while the nanny finishes the laundry. Around 4:30pm, She will need to be woken up before sitting down to dinner around 5pm. After dinner, the nanny can give her her bath to get her settled for the night. The family has a housekeeper that does all the major cleaning and organizing so your main focus will be taking care of her and making sure she is happy! Her happiness is #1 for the family. Driving is needed for this position and everything is local.

The family has a swimming pool, which she loves to swim in, so the nanny will need to know how to swim. They have 2 small dogs named Bailey and Buddy. The nanny will just need to make sure they have food and water and to let them outside when needed. Their backyard has an invisible fence so the nanny does not need to worry. The hours for this position are fantastic! Mom is flexible with the hours and there are 3 options for the nanny. Option 1’s schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm. New! Awesome Nanny Position
Morristown, NJ 07960
ABC Nanny Source - Philadelphia

The family has two adorable little children!

Their boy is 3 years old and he is super energetic! Mom says he is go-go-go all the time. He can be a bit shy when he first meets someone but once he warms up he is VERY expressive. He’s definitely social and adores his little sister. He goes to preschool three times per week, goes to swim lessons once a week, and he may start doing sports once a week too! To add, he likes reading, playing outside, soccer, biking, playing catch, music/singing songs, telling stories, trains, trucks, and building things!

His little sister is 1 year old and is a total sweet pea! For her age, her verbal communication is pretty good. She’s more about 3 word sentences but is good at describing what it is she wants. She’s also pretty physical too; she goes to preschool twice per week, has gymnastics/dance once a week, and may possibly start taking swim lessons too. She does have a heart arrythmia (PAC) but it does not require treatment or medication. She can participate in typical activities for her age and only needs to be monitored in cases of shortness of breath (in which case her cardiologist needs to be called). In addition to her activities she also likes reading, coloring, playing outside, music/singing songs, as well as playing with her stuffed animals and toys. She has no allergies, no food restrictions, and no medications.

The daily responsibilities will include; child supervision, providing their snacks and meals, indoor or outdoor time, reading, playing, activities, games/crafts, and entertainment. Mom will take the children (one or two) to school and activities during the morning time and also run errands or activities in the afternoon. Some light housekeeping will be required as well including the children’s laundry, keeping their rooms organized/cleaned, tidying up the playroom or children’s toys, and cleaning up after preparing meals or snacks. Some driving will be required for this position but the family will be providing a vehicle. Isn’t that great? They have a pool too, so swimming is a plus!

The hours for this position are fantastic! The schedule is 3 days per week from 8:00am to 4:00pm. If the nanny would like to pick up extra hours there is availability to work Saturdays from 8:00am to 2:00pm as well!  They are offering an hourly rate of $15-$18 per hour and are open to discussion with regards to how the nanny would like to be compensated.

New! Fantastic Nanny Position
Ambler, PA 19002
ABC Nanny Source - Philadelphia

This wonderful family has three children. The oldest child is 5 years old and he’s starting full day kindergarten in the fall! He also goes to a summer camp that is a ½ mile away. He’s the shy one in the family but is also the smart one. He’s a little over the 50% percentile for his height and once he warms up to you, he’ll show his “big brother” side! He definitely enjoys being the oldest and guiding his younger brothers in the right direction. He has no allergies, no food restrictions, and no medications.

His little brother is 3 years old and he goes to a summer camp that is 2 miles from the house. He’s a very carefree little boy and has recently started potty-training! He’s about 4 weeks in with no diapers. He and his older brother enjoy outdoor activities over any other, so someone who is active would be great! He has no allergies, no food restrictions, and no medications.

The baby is 8 months old and he’s just enjoying being the baby! He’s definitely a Mama’s boy but he transitions to other people very quickly. Mom is still breastfeeding him and he is growing well. He is a very calm baby as well and is pretty easygoing. He is very healthy and so far has no known allergies to any foods or medications.

The daily responsibilities are as follows: both during and after the summer is over, the nanny would have the baby all day. In the summer they would pick up the older two boys at camp around 1:00pm. They would need lunch and then would play outside for most of the day. In September the middle child would be picked up from nursery school at 12:00pm, and the nanny would feed him lunch and play with him for the rest of the day. The oldest child would get off the bus in front of the house around 4:20pm and from there the nanny would just spend time with all the children. They have a housekeeper that comes every 10 days to do the heavy cleaning so only light cleaning pertaining to the children, as well as the children’s laundry, will be required. Mom and Dad are seeking someone who is kind, caring, and firm when needed.

The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30am to 6:00pm. What I love about this position is that you in essence get a 4 day weekend! Mom is home on Mondays and Grandma helps on Fridays so this is an amazing schedule! The nanny will basically getting off work the two days of the week that nobody wants to work. They are offering an hourly rate of $15-$17 per hour based on experience, and plan to pay the nanny directly.

Employment Type: Part time
Salary: $15-$17 per hour
License Required: Valid Driver's License
Certification Required: CPR
Experience Required: Minimum 3-5 years

Mom says she is a great child; she is both happy and healthy with no allergies, no food restrictions, and no medications. She is definitely active and often goes to gymnastics and to the library. To add, she is extremely excited to be a big sister!

The daily responsibilities are pretty simple; playing with the children, changing diapers, feeding them, and ensuring their safety. Other responsibilities would include light housekeeping pertaining to the children such as the laundry, dishes/bottles, as well as tidying up after them.

This position is a minimum of 3 days per week and will average out to 33-40 hours per week. The typical schedule for these days will be from 7:00am to 5:00p with the exception of 1 of the 3 days, in which the nanny would work until 8:00pm. This day will usually be on a Wednesday, but the nanny will always know the schedule 1 month in advance. They are also seeking someone who can work a weekend once every 6 weeks; that’s only once every 1 ½ months! On the weekends the nanny would work from either 7:00am to 3:00pm or 1:00pm to 9:00pm. The great thing about this position is that even though Mom and Dad are physicians, the nanny will never be required to work on holidays! They are offering an hourly rate of $15-$20 per hour based on experience, and plan to pay the nanny directly.

New! Phenomenal Nanny Position
Rydal, PA 19046
ABC Nanny Source - Philadelphia

This family has two fun-loving boys.

The oldest child is 9 years old and he’s in 3rd grade! Mom says he’s a great citizen and loves to do the “right” thing. He’s crazy into sports and loves to run! Mom says he would work out 10 hours a day if he was allowed; isn’t that crazy?! He’s also a great eater and is “all boy”! He can be a bit shy at first but once he warms up to you he is a huge love bug; he’s very close with his best friends. He is also very protective of his little brother. In school, math and science come easily to him but he has struggled a bit with reading and writing, so they would definitely appreciate someone who can help him with that. He has also started playing the cello this year! He is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, and legumes but he is quite aware and is proactive about asking ingredients, etc.

His little brother is 6 years old and he is a sweet pea! Right now he is in full day kindergarten; he can get a little tired because it’s a long day! He’s definitely his own person and has a spunky personality; he’s very popular! He’s also very curious and enjoys imaginative play. He truly loves his big brother and they get along great! This little guy does have clubbed feet though which require him to wear molded braces (foot to knee) to walk properly. He also has some limitations on his left arm with range of motion. He is a fearless and active child but some activities are difficult for him to participate in. He has had a ton of intervention regarding his limitations and he’s incredibly resilient; it’s amazing! What he has is a congenial condition that only occurs with 1 in every 10,000 people. They never thought he would even walk and yet he runs! He is the toughest child ever and can even use the monkey bars! Unfortunately though he’ll often want to sprint and run faster than his current abilities so he will get frustrated and needs to be redirected. This family is definitely into the nature vs. nurture idea, so they would love someone who can encourage him that his feet don’t hinder him from reaching any of his goals in due time. The nanny would need to feel comfortable making some adjustments for him and being sensitive to him getting frustrated when he can’t go as fast as he wants. On a different note, he loves Barbies and girly things! He has a Barbie Dreamhouse and is embarrassed about it. It’s so cute! Mom says he’s fun to play Barbies with and is very nurturing with a huge imagination.

Both of these boys are very active! The older brother enjoys anything sporty such as kicking a soccer ball, playing basketball, nerf wars with friends, and riding his bike. He also likes card tricks, magic tricks, karate, playing FIFA on PlayStation, and practicing his cello. The older brother’s favoring thing is to be outside in any condition, any temperature. The younger brother absolutely loves imaginative play and making structures in his room! He also likes playing with Barbies of course, shopkins, making art (especially of elaborate amusement parks), being read to, as well as board games and electronic games (with limits). He loves making friends/playing with other children, going to the playground, playing tag, playing hide and go seek, etc. Mom says he is also a fish; he loves swimming lessons! Of all that they need, Mom and Dad are especially seeking someone who is loving, energetic, open-minded, has strong communication skills, and is flexible.

The daily responsibilities will vary between the summer and fall. Below is what the average day would look like for each.

During the summer the responsibilities will be as follows: Every day the nanny will need to empty the dishwasher and put away dishes (not including those air drying by the sink), making bag lunches for both children for camp the following day, and cleaning up the prep area after making lunches. At 3:15pm the nanny would leave to pick up the 6 year old at day camp and immediately after take the younger brother to pick up his older brother at camp (both are local). The nanny would need to make sure that the older brother practices his cello for 15-30 minutes every day as well, and also make sure that both boys read and/or are read to for 20 minutes. This is still to be confirmed, but the older brother may have weekly music lessons (in home or out of the home) that may require transport, as well as karate up to twice a week. During this time the nanny would play with younger brother while his older brother is in class (would last for about 45 minutes) and the two (nanny and 6 year old) can play outside if they would like. Throughout the week (but not every day) the responsibilities during the summer may include: children’s laundry (wash, fold/hang, put away), recipe prep (cleaning, slicing, marinating, etc.), cooking healthy meals for the children, and running local errands [return books, purchases/returns at Target, receive grocery delivery, and arranging Whole Foods purchases (which are local)].

During the school year the responsibilities will be as follows: From 1:30pm to 3:45pm the responsibilities will remain the same; empty the dishwasher and put away dishes (not including those air drying by the sink), making bag lunches for both children for camp the following day, and cleaning up the prep area after making lunches. At 3:45pm (except on Wednesdays) the children will arrive home from the bus. At that time the nanny would greet the children and prepare them an afternoon snack. On Wednesdays the nanny would pick them up from school at 3:15pm like in the summer. Afterward, until 4:15pm there will be down time with the children so during that time the nanny can spend time supervising and playing with them. At 4:15pm they would like the children to work on homework, including the 20 minutes of daily reading. When complete, the older brother can practice playing the cello. After that there will be more down time so the nanny can play with the children, have activities, etc. with them until the parents get home. Additional responsibilities will include coordinating dates with other families maybe once per week. The older brother will often play independently or with other children.

If these become confirmed activities (subject to change), these responsibilities will also be included in the routine: On Mondays bring the older brother to Karate at 5:45pm and play with the younger brother in the waiting room in the meantime. Mom would pick them up directly from Karate by 6:30pm. On Tuesdays there would be potential pick up at school and then karate at 4:45pm. On Wednesdays the nanny would do pick up at school at 3:15pm and play at the playground if the children are interested. Then the nanny would get the 6 year old ready for swimming and feed the boys early dinner by 5:30pm. From there Mom would do pick up and transport to swimming.

With regards to the driving, they are open as to whether their vehicle or the nanny’s is used. If the nanny’s vehicle is used, they will provide gas reimbursement. They have a housekeeper that comes twice a month to do the deep/heavy cleaning so only the laundry and light cleaning pertaining to the children will be required. The schedule is pretty consistent; Monday through Friday from 1:30pm to 6:30pm with the crucial hours being between 3:00pm to 6:30pm. They are offering an hourly rate of $15-$18 per hour based on experience, and plan to pay the nanny directly. They would like some flexibility for the nanny to work an occasional morning as well (with plenty of advanced notice; i.e. 7:30am to 9:00am) and then the nanny would simply come in the afternoon at 3:00pm instead of 1:30pm or use some of the 25 hours for an occasional evening or weekend.
