ABOUT AMERICA's NANNIES®
How we became the live-in nanny specialists...
America's Nannies® was founded in 1984 as Helpfinders Unlimited®. At that time it was a full service domestic agency placing nannies, housekeepers, housekeeper/child care, butlers, chauffeurs, major domos, housemanagers, couples and other miscellaneous domestic personnel. It soon became evident that greater expertise, screening, investigating and matching were required when placing nannies and other caregivers for children than when working with other domestics. As time went on, we quickly eliminated all non childcare personnel and by 1990 had focused exclusively on nanny, housekeeper/cc and baby nurse positions. By 1991, we further specialized and eliminated housekeeper/cc positions as it became evident that there was a great loss of quality in area or another when dealing with the person that was responsible for both childcare and housekeeping. Simply stated, the person that is a great housekeeper may neither be interested or capable of caring for children and vice versa.We changed our name to America's Nannies in 1991 and at that time placed live-in and live out nannies, part time and temporary nannies and baby nurses. In 1992, we eliminated the part time and temporary placements, in 1994 live out placements and baby nurses were eliminated and since that time we have specialized exclusively in full time live in nannies only.
Our highly specialized agency thus dedicates all our energies, recruiting, screening and matching to live in nannies only, enabling us to provide greater selection, more intensive screening and the most highly focused matching program in the nation. We are better able to serve the client seriously in the live in nanny market. The logic is simple. If you have a heart condition, you would most likely prefer to work with a cardiologist. If you need a live in nanny, you should most certainly want to work with live in nanny specialists.
Located in the NJ, NY and CT areas, America's Nannies provides many of the New Jersey nannies and New York nannies to families. Our reputation as live in specialists has spread nationally enabling us to recruit higher numbers of qualified nannies to better serve our clients.
